I want a faith that's real and raw. I'm not fond of the large, religious machines in this country that tend to grind their members up in their gears. I love real dialogue about real life, faith or the arts... Please join in!

I have a variety of creative interests. I play and teach a bunch of different instruments. Not only am I the only middle aged woman on my block who knows what thrash metal music is... I can play it on 4 instruments. I always have the element of suprise since I don't look like a musician at all. I even have my own instructional channel on youtube now at lindabmusiclessons1. I've also had a variety of careers. I spent years as a photographer doing album covers and big touring media projects. I enjoy good discussion that challenges me and engages my brain. I have a passion for Jesus but a very low tolerance for religious b.s. and /or spiritual abuse. I have a passion for mentoring and investing in the lives of the next generation. I love people who have a good sense of humor who don't take themselves too seriously, and can handle my slightly snarkey sense of humor. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, and playing with my big goofy dogs.

This is a wonderful and creative way to let it all hang out. Your thoughts are insightful, sensitive and logical. I'm sure whoever reads your blogs will agree. :)
It only took me a month + to finally check out the site. I'll be sure to wear my green hat next time, so I have more meaningful input. Thanks for sharing what you have so far. I'll be a frequent visitor...even though I don't like the word "blog."
